To the Lo Family:
I attended the memorial dinner tonight. After the event I came home and visited the web site to learn more about your son. I watched the Ft. Hood service and the tribute put together by his friend. These videos gave me a chance to learn about him and his life. I am deeply saddened by the loss of a great young man.

My heart goes out to the family and friends. Ed was a good man, a lead and an insperation. I served in the 797th with him. Words can not begain to describ what a great man he was. I still think about him to this day. Remembering his jokes, as well as the help he would give. My he rest in peace.

I just wanted the family of SSG Lo to know that my wife and I think of him every time we pass through the intersection of Geremonty Dr. and Main St. here in Salem. He will never be forgotten.

Ed,
I had hoped that we would cross paths again, either in EOD or back in New Hampshire. It is sad to know that cannot happen now, but I hope you know how proud we are of you. It was an honor to know you, and we will never forget you. May God keep you forever, and put in a good word for the Techs down here still fightin' the good fight.

Born unto a different cloth, I know Edmond could have chosen a life of prosperity and chased every opportunity afforded by our great nation. Giving life as he lived it, he chose to leave these pursuits behind and devote himself instead to a higher calling, fighting with indomitable purpose, by simple truths- Brotherhood. Honor. Sacrifice. Words molded into his character. Although I never knew him. I know he was loved by many and he will never be forgotten.
RIP Edmond Lo

I knew him as Lo. My heart cries out for his family and mourns this loss, because I know how good he was. Lo was well respected and admired for his intelligence and persevering outlook on life. He was my rifleman in his first tour of duty with 3BCT 101st ABN DIV. While with the Rakkasans He trained hard and held his ground with anyone. Lo was my friend and I will miss him. Thanks for searving your country SSG. Lo. we will meet again someday.

I spent my tour in Brassfield Mora where I met SSG LO and his team, he took me out with them on a controlled det, I remember him having a child like humor and always being happy, he could do a manup on the pull up rings!! He could play rockband on expert and hardly miss a note, I could go on and on about how awesome he was, I really miss you Lo, you were a great friend!

May you rest in peace Ed. It has been almost 6 years since I have seen you, we use to get made fun of for being the 2 Asians in our platoon with our silly BCG glasses at basic training. You were the quiet one, but definitely intelligent with a wonderful smile. I am praying for you and your family. Thank you for your selfless service and courage. You will never be forgotten.

Ed was a great friend. We went to EOD school together. We were always at the beach on the weekends, i remember the time we all drove to Tampa and Orlando. I still find myself using his jokes (don't want!). i still feel sick and broken hearted when i think about it all. I know people always talk about how great the deceased are, but Ed really was a great guy. i've never known someone with such conviction, yet he never felt that he had to explain himself. Ed will live on forever in my heart, and in the hearts of everyone who knew him.

I only knew Ed for a brief amount of time when he was home for the holidays. He was always mentioned, remembered, and spoken of lovingly in his absence so much so that I felt like I knew him. It seems when people pass, that only the good things are said about them, none of the flaws ( which is how it should be), but in knowing him even briefly I feel like only good things can be said about him. There was never a moment in his presence where he wasn't pleasant, happy, funny, kind, and caring. It upsets me that I did not get to know him better, but I know that the few memories I do have and the memories shared with me do and always will make me smile. Thanks Ed for being yourself. You are SO missed.

So, I haven't really seen the Lo family in years I remember Ed when he was way younger def not even old enough to drive. I don't really know what to say other than ,my heart, thoughts & prayers go to the family and close friends. Also, I would like to thank Ed for protecting his country and all of us trying to live in the US peacefully. If it wasn't for ppl with courage, strength, determination & most of all a heart like Ed we probably wouldn't have a country to live in. My deepest sympothies.

I only wish that I had known Edmond Lo because the stories told of him are so amazing. He was a wonderful, caring son, brother, uncle and friend who is greatly missed. SSgt Lo served our country well with integrity and selflessness. I am blessed to have been able to sing at his funeral service.
May God bless Ed's family and friends at this difficult time,

Its difficult to find the right thing to say when a family has suffered such a loss. Just know that I am here with you in your grief and hope you can come to me if you ever need a shoulder to lean on. I consider you part of my family.

SSG Lo was a valued Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team Leader who worked directly under my supervision, training, and guidance from July 08 - June 09. We served our great nation during Operation Iraqi Freedom 09-10. SSG Lo was a great Leader, Soldier, and Friend. He is greatly missed and will always be honored by his EOD brothers.
Thank you SSG Lo for your life of Laughter, Honor, and Selfless Service.
