Fifth Annual SSG Edmond Lo Pasta Fundraiser Wrap Up
The Fifth Annual SSG Edmond Lo Pasta Fundraiser was held on May 30, 2014. We received a little under $5,000 in proceeds from the pasta dinner admissions, raffles and donations. We are really thankful to still be holding this Pasta Fundraiser in Edmond’s name every year. We could not do this alone. The community and local businesses have shown tremendous support to this cause, as well as personal contributors. A special thanks to Jerry and Ricki Pegram and also David Lacroix for playing his live music again this year.

Hampton Christmas Parade
This year the Town of Hampton invited the Run for the Fallen Organization to be featured in their Christmas Day Parade. The parade took place on December 7, 2013, a cold day marking the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. Family members bundled up and walked in the parade carrying posters of their loved ones. The posters read “Our Son/Daughter”, “Our Brother/Sister”, or “My Husband/Wife” above the pictures. A recording of the names of the soldiers was on a loop throughout the parade. The Lo Family walked proudly with our posters of Edmond. It was a tremendous honor to share Edmond’s name and take part in this parade with the other families.
