On September 12, 2009, a small crowd gathered on the corner of Main Street and Geremonty Drive in Salem to unveil the bronze remembrance plaque that was erected in memory of Ed. Among the attendees are Chief Puzzo, members of the JROTC, and members of the VFW, in addition to the entire Lo family. After a short speech from Chief Puzzo, the plaque was unveiled for the crowd which was then followed by a short presentation by the JROTC students and the playing of TAPS.
